Former Bachelor in Paradise contestant Kevin Fortenberry has already found love following his exit from the Bachelor franchise show.
Prior to coming on Bachelor in Paradise, Fortenberry was on the most recent season of The Bachelorette and was eliminated by Bachelorette Hannah Brown during week 6 in Scotland. Fortenberry’s time on the show was uneventful, mostly overshadowed by the Luke P. drama. Similarly to his limited appearances on The Bachelorette, his time on Bachelor in Paradise was relatively short-lived seeing as he was eliminated during the second rose ceremony when contestant Sydney Lotuaco opted to give her rose to Mike Johnson rather than to Fortenberry, who she had received a rose from during the first ceremony. Despite leaving Paradise as single as he’d come, he has since found love following his departure.
Fortenberry confirmed to Us Weekly that he has entered into a relationship with someone not in the Bachelor Nation world since leaving Bachelor in Paradise. Fortenberry is dating dental hygienist Hillary Webb who he met “almost instantly after Paradise.” The Bachelor Nation heartthrob told Us that he and Webb had been following each other on social media “for years” and only lived a town apart, but had never met in person. Fortenberry said while he was at the checkout at Target, “She recognized me and struck up a conversation.” He walked Webb to her car, “proceeded to get her number and planned a sushi dinner two days later. We started dating around late June.” Filming for Bachelor in Paradise started in the first week of June and Fortenberry was sent home at the end of the second week, so the first encounter with Webb would’ve been just a couple of weeks after he returned home.
Fortenberry has not shared any photos of Webb on his social media, most likely due to contractual obligations since his relationship status following Bachelor in Paradise was unknown until last week. Webb shared a photo of the pair on her Instagram on August 19 captioned, “You’re my paradise, I love you,” to which the Bachelorette alum responded, “And you are my world! I love you too angel!,” making their relationship social media official.
Prior to becoming a member of the Bachelor franchise, Fortenberry worked as a behavioral health specialist for the US Army working with veterans, and despite his brief stint on Bachelor in Paradise, he doesn’t seem interested in a career as a social media influencer promoting hair-strengthening multivitamins (you know the one), unlike many others in the franchise, so it’s likely he’ll return to his pre-Bachelor Nation career. Fortenberry seems to be very well-liked by his fellow Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise cast members, so congratulations to Kevin for finding love off screen.
