Bear Mattress Return Policy
The Bear Mattress return policy guarantees customers a 365 night trial period for the mattress from the date of delivery and can return them if not satisfied within the period. The customer has to follow the set processes and guidelines by Bear Mattress for a successful refund or exchange process to take place and ensure both the customer and Bear Mattress’s needs have been met.

1. Bear Mattress return period
A customer who purchased a mattress from Bear Mattress and is not happy with the purchase is allowed to return the mattress after 30 nights of using it and before 365 nights from the date the mattress was delivered to their homestead. The 30 day period is to ensure the customer’s body gets used to the new mattress from the previous use of the old mattress.
2. Bear Mattress return process
To return a mattress to Bear Mattress, an individual must ensure the mattress is in good condition aside from the normal wear and tear, they have used the mattress for at least 30 nights from the date of purchase, and is within the 365 nights return period. The customer is then required to request return approval from Bear Mattress by writing an email to returns@bearmattress.com with the customer’s name stating the reason for the return and giving their order number for verification of the purchase or visit https://bearmattress.happyreturns.com/.
If Bear Mattress approves the return request, Bear Mattress will send an authorized individual to remove and pick up the mattress. The customer needs to schedule removal and pickup with the authorized party who will deliver the mattress to Bear Mattress.
3. Bear Mattress refund process
Once the mattress has been removed from the customer’s homestead by the authorized individual from Bear Mattress and confirmation has been sent, Bear Mattress starts the refund process. The customer will be refunded the original mattress purchase price and the money will be credited to the original form of payment that the customer initially used to pay for the mattress.
4. Reasons for returning a mattress to Bear Mattress
The customer can return the mattress purchased to Bear Mattress for exchange or refund because either the mattress does not address the comfort they wanted to experience, the mattress has some manufacturer’s defect, the mattress delivered was in the wrong order in terms of color, size, or model, or the mattress delivered was damaged during shipping.
5. Limitations to Bear Mattress return policy
The Bear Mattress return policy only applies to mattress purchases that customers made after January 01, 2022, and the customer must be able to provide proof of the date of purchase using the order number.
The customer is not allowed to return a mattress to Bear Mattress before the 30 nights or after 365 nights from the date of delivery even if they are unsatisfied with it. Bear Mattress does not offer such customers any refund or exchange.
A customer in need of returning a mattress to Bear Mattress will only be allowed to return or exchange a mattress once and will receive a refund of the original mattress purchase price.
Bear Mattress does not allow a customer to remove a mattress and ship it back by themselves but will send an authorized individual who will be able to remove it from the customer’s homestead and deliver it to Bear Mattress for any exchange or refund to be processed.
If a customer was granted an exchange for their initially purchased mattress, Bear Mattress does not allow them another return or exchange of the exchanged mattress. Also, the exchanged mattress will not enjoy or participate in the 365 night trial period.
A customer can return a mattress to Bear Mattress for exchange with another mattress model or type if they are not satisfied with the originally purchased mattress. To exchange a mattress, the customer must be within 365 nights from the date of purchase. The customer then is required to contact Bear Mattress by calling 844-311-0035 giving the reason for the exchange and the order number for purchase confirmation.
If the exchange request is granted, Bear Mattress will send an authorized partner to the customer’s homestead to remove and deliver the mattress to them and exchange the mattress for the customer.
The Bear Mattress return policy guarantees customers their comfort as they sleep and assurance that Bear Mattress cares for them and can return the mattress for exchange or refund if not fulfilled with the purchase. This makes the customer trust more in the Bear Mattress brand and the quality of the mattress models they offer.
